Bio

Hamim Hamid is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, where she joined the WSPR Lab in Fall 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Bradley Reaves. Her research centers on large-scale measurement of telephone network security, with expertise spanning public-key infrastructure, call authentication protocols, and the application of agentic voice AI to telecommunications security and data collection.

Before joining NC State, Hamim spent nearly three years in the telecommunications industry building AI systems at scale. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, where she graduated with First Class Honors.
